It invests on its own account in minority, non-controlling stakes in early-stage companies building artificial intelligence, robotics, and the tools that are reshaping how people work. The Company does not manage client assets, provide investment advice, or solicit business from third parties.

K. O. Meridian is a privately owned company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus. It invests on its own account in a diversified portfolio of minority positions in private technology companies and in venture funds managed by established managers.

Every position is a minority stake. We do not control the companies we back, hold no board majorities, and take no part in their day-to-day management. The Company has no subsidiaries: one company, one level of ownership.

Our work is built on patience, long-term thinking, and a preference for opportunities where time and judgment compound in our favour. We do not act for external clients, and no content on this website is intended as an invitation, offer, or solicitation.

We look for teams applying new technology to real problems — where the underlying research has matured enough to build on, but the market has not yet caught up.

Artificial Intelligence

Applied AI: companies turning machine learning research into products people use every day — developer tooling, vertical assistants, the automation of knowledge work, and the data and compute infrastructure beneath it.

Robotics

Intelligence that acts in the physical world — industrial and warehouse automation, autonomous systems, perception and control software, and the hardware that makes all of it work outside the laboratory.

The Future of Work

How work is organised and delivered: distributed teams, hiring and talent platforms, collaboration and productivity software, and the systems that support a workforce no longer defined by an office.

As a minority investor we do not direct the companies we back. Within that limit, environmental, social and governance factors inform which opportunities we choose and the standards we expect of the founders we support.

Environmental

We favour businesses whose growth is consistent with responsible resource use and a measured transition towards a lower-carbon economy, and we keep the footprint of our own operations minimal.

Social

We back founders who treat their people fairly, build diverse teams, and make work more humane — a natural fit for a portfolio focused on the future of work.

Governance

We look for clean cap tables, honest reporting and proper corporate records, and hold ourselves to the same standard in our dealings with banks, auditors and regulators.
